Architect Kei Sasaki Talks About“Why I Became an Architect”

Thank you always for your warm support.

This time, as the second architectural seminar hosted by ArchEd+ Academy, we are pleased to welcome architect Kei Sasaki to hold a special lecture.

Architect Kei Sasaki, who is currently attracting great attention, studied architecture at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School, gained experience at the office of Sou Fujimoto, and founded Axonometric Inc. in 2021.

He is now actively engaged in projects both in Japan and abroad, based in Fukuoka.

Guided by his belief in “engaging in genuine dialogue with people and creating architecture that is not self-centered”, he has drawn much attention with his design of “NOT A HOTEL FUKUOKA,” a unique project that merges hotel and residential functions, inspired by the image of a three-dimensional cityscape.

In addition, he has worked on a wide range of projects, including the pop-up stage at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai and the product design “SKIN CHAIR.”

In this lecture, Architect Kei Sasaki will share the reasons why he chose the path of architecture and the sources of his passion, providing valuable insights to those aspiring to architecture and to those seeking to take a new step forward.

We sincerely look forward to your participation.
