Architect Hirokazu Suehiro Talks About “Why I Became an Architect”
(Special Dialogue: Hirokazu Suemitsu × George Kunihiro)

Thank you always for your warm support.

This time, as the third architectural seminar hosted by ArchEd+ Academy, we are pleased to welcome architect Hirokazu Suehiro and George Kunihiro, Dean of ArchEd+ Academy,  to hold a special lecture.

Mr. Suehiro completed his graduate studies at the University of Tokyo and worked at Toyo Ito & Associates before establishing the architectural unit SUEP. with Yoko Suehiro in 2007. He has since pursued innovative organic architecture where nature and buildings coexist. His notable works include “Dwelling in the Ground” (winner of the 27th Yoshioka Award) and the “Awaji Island House” (winner of the 2018 Good Design Gold Award). Through his works, he continues to propose rich lifestyles that are gentle to both people and the environment.

In this lecture, Mr. Suehiro will speak about why he chose the path of architecture and the passion that drives his pursuit of environmentally symbiotic design.
In the second part, there will be a special dialogue with Mr. George Kunihiro.

This will be a precious opportunity for aspiring architects and those looking to take a new step forward to gain inspiring messages that resonate deeply.

We sincerely look forward to your participation.
